End of an Era

Tis the last day of school for our children. Tis the last day I have drive to Fig Tree Pocket. I'm looking forward to this evening. In the meantime, I'll go to sewing class today. The last one of the year.

We attended Son's graduation last night. It was entertaining. Food was marginal at best. Doesn't matter. Son had a great time. It was for him. Husband and I did a fencing display which was, of course, a big hit. We made our son feel proud of us. What more could a parent want in life.

Work Status: All four white shirts are finished. I should get paid for two of them this evening. Tomorrow I'll start on something else. Not sure if it'll be Husband's tights or the black shirt for Scholar B.H.

Note: I've been driving back and forth from Fig Tree Pocket for nine years. Whew!

yum yum

I'm eating soup. My tummy is happy. Exhaustion, depression and anxiety are gone. Amazing what a properly functioning digestive system can do.

Children are in the backyard using a basket attached to a rope to lower items from the veranda to the fort. Husband set up the rope, basket and carabiner. I got out some string and attached it to the basket so the basket can be pulled back up the rope. Highly entertaining for the entire family.

Work Status: Ummm well you see I... ummm haven't done any work today...ummm because well ...ummm... see I got sidetracked by my 2H sword bag. It's almost done but I really should be cutting out capes. Errr... maybe this afternoon... if I can stand to leave my bag.
